Best Mexican restaurant in the area! Family owned and run with 60 year old recipes. Their corn tacos are amazing. Prices are very reasonable. You can choose one, two, or three tacos, enchalidas, tostadas, etc. One is only $3.79. They have good drink specials as well and half off kids meals one day a week. Service is friendly and speedy. It's a must try!

I gave two stars because the wait staff was so pleasant. The floors were full of garbage. The booth no comfortable. We ordered fahitas for two. The beef and chicken were not thin and sizzling, rather big hunks of meat and veggies, how are you supposed to put it on your wrap? The meat had no flavor, they did not prepare this correctly. The chips and salsa were ok. My daughter enjoyed her chicken strips and french fries.

The food is decent, good portions, with a good size menu. Restaurant is in a strip mall, and you can't miss it. Chips and Salsa before the meal, two types of salsa, hot and chunky (Medium). Wait Staff is friendly and service was fast. The have drink specials and happy hour. Its typical American Mexican food, but they do it well at a reasonable price and service.

Imagine our surprise when we found this place (near our cottage on the lake) was owned by our Favorite Mexican Restaurant in Dearborn. Now home and on vacation we can enjoy our favorite Mexican dishes. Great, warm chips. Hot food and friendly service. If you are looking for great Mexican in Hartland or near White Lake, look no further.

Food is GREAT service on the other hand was horrible. First when I ordered i felt like it was bothering the girl on phone I stated I would festia burritos one with shredded beef and one with ground beef 2 taco salads and asked them if they could make chile relleno and they girl acted like I was stupid and there was no such thing ( what Mexican restaurant does not know what that is ) anyway, they made something sorta like that than the girl read my order back all jacked up and made it seem like i was at fault.. She though shredded beef and ground beef was the same thing So I shrugged it off as someone has to do that job if it took brain cells she wouldn't be there 2nd I spent 65 dollars for takeout keep in mind ( have no issue food was good) when I went to pick it up hardly acknowledge me the guy was to busy talking about his boyfriend and what party him and the the hostess was going to later that night. So flustered I knew something was messed up but just wanted to pay and leave. I get home and guess what they are missing the chile relleno so I kindly call and tell them I'm missing something *again miss attitude said well give me a minute she came back and stated *it was marked in there that you got it do you still want it... are you kidding me really? I just spent 60+ dollars why would call to lie over a 7 dollar meal you didn't give me what I ordered and yes I'll be up there This place really needs to overlook there staff!!! A few extra dollars will get more brain cells and make people coming in enjoyable

Just as good as the original Mexican Fiesta in Dearborn Heights! I wish I could say the same for the Canton location, but I digress... Fiesta in Hartland serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. While I have only had one alcoholic beverage here to date, it was fantastic and I look forward to having more in the future! It was a top shelf margarita that I would consider one of the best ritas I've had in recent times... Well done, Fiesta of Hartland!

This place gets 3.52 stars, rounded up to 4. The service, if bad again, will get it knocked down to 3. As I understand it, "Fiesta" replaced Mexican Fiesta Express, which was little tiny taco shop with only a few tables. As one who hails from SoCal, and has forever been in love with tiny, janky taco shops, I must say I miss the raw, grungy atmosphere of the old place. That said, the food is just as good here. And it's as good as the Mexican Fiestas in Canton and Southfield. However, the service here is markedly worse when busy than the original Mexican Fiesta. Come here, the food is good. The taco shells are actually corn tortillas that have been deep-fried to deliciousness - not fake, pre-made yellow things. Yay. Not the most authentic, to be sure (La Casita in Ypsi for that), but better than most Mexican places around here.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BILL JUST BECAUSE THE PRICES ON IT ARE RIGHT DOES NOT MEAN THE TOTAL AT THE BOTTOM IS RIGHT!!!!!!! I had gone to this establishment previously and had gotten horrible service with a waitress who did not care about us at all when there was only 3 other tables she didn't refill our drinks and took 15 minutes just to take our order. The only time she came to our table after that was to give us our food. When it came time for a carry out I had to flag her down it took her 25 minutes just to get me a carry out container and they were just sitting next to the hostess stand. It was an awful experience. I wasn't going to go back again but my friend told me that they had been there recently and that it was amazing. I decided to try one more time but it was awful. The burrito I got had raw meat inside of it. They waitress put down the bill and when I looked at it the prices were all right but the end didn't seem right when I did in my head I did it on a calculator and she had somehow added it up wrong and overcharged. I don't know how when all the prices were right and I did factor in tax. Make sure to check your bill just because the prices on it are right does not mean the end charge amount is right. !!!!!!!

Solid four star meal. Went there with the BF for the first time tonight and, man, we were HUNGRY. I wouldn't consider Fiesta's food straight up authentic Mexican, but it was more than good and filling to boot. We got there close to 4PM on a very cold Saturday and it was less than half full. By the time we left about 6PM (we lingered) a steady stream of people were already starting to come in. The restaurant was much bigger than expected inside. We sat in the bar side which was closed off with 3 medium-large TV's playing football. The volume was good...not too loud at all. I couldn't say the same for 3 annoying customers with shrill/weird loud voices. Once they left all was good. There were 2 young gentleman bartenders and the large plate glass allowed plenty of view into the main dining room for a little people watching. The place is nicely decorated with wood appointments, a suspended pergola and inside/outside Spanish tile roof fakery. I saw families, couples and a group of suits and ties. Drinks: The tropical cocktails were on special for $4.00 per the chalkboard sign when you walk in (most are normally $6.00), so I went thataway. My first drink, the Cancun Sunrise, was delicious! Like a strawberry smoothie with a tropical twist. I am a bit of a lush so after a taste I decided to order up an extra shot of rum to infuse the drink with (tip: from past experience of being shorted, always order the extra shot on the side and dump it in there yourself). That made it perfect...for me. I could probably drink ten of these during the summer. I got the Tijuana Treasure next and that was not as good. I expected it to be as smooth and thick like the Cancun Sunrise, but it was more icy/watery, not as deliciously sweet and just okay overall. This drink was more slanted towards a banana taste. I want to try the rest of the tropical list now so see if there are more hits. In addition they offered up 4 different types of flavored daquiris. BF ordered the big glass of something boring on draft. Food: We bypassed the appetizers since we got the free chips + hot and mild mini-bottles of salsa. Both were good though I preferred a mix of equal parts of both. The thin, hot, freshly fried tortilla chips were great. The first basket is free, additional baskets are around $2. BF ordered chicken soft tacos with (iceberg) lettuce, onions + cheese. The topping offerings here are mostly American-style. But when the food arrived (super fast at that) I asked if they had cilantro and the server said yes and brought us a little bowl of chopped green joy just as fast. We're big cilantro lovers and like to make our tacos at home Mexi-style with just cilantro and onions, plus some cheese on occasion, so know that it is possible here. The plain yellow rice and chunky refried beans had good flavor. BF thought his rice was on the salty side, but I thought the rice was fine as is. He found the type of onions used on the tacos were more of the bitter/sharp than sweet kind. I ordered 2 chicken enchiladas with cheese. These are not saucy enchiladas, but they were still good with nice chunks of moist chicken inside. You have a choice to order 1-3 enchiladas at varying prices and they come with rice and beans. While we ate we nodded a lot at each other in full meal approval. We rarely order dessert, but saw fried ice cream on the menu and shared one with strawberries + whipped cream. This was the part of the meal that was a bit of a disappointment. It was pre-made + from the freezer which made the crust chewy. Still decent to eat. Service: Friendly-enough and solid on timely requests and making slight corrections. Bill: Just under $47 w/o tip. $20 of that was hooch. We will be back. Again and again.

My husband and I had dinner here last week. My 1st time, husband has been there several times for lunch and dinner. Food was great, service was fast, prices were steeper than El Patron in Howell, MI. But decor and presentation is better than El Patron in Howell. We will return if we are in the area, but otherwise will likely return to El Patron.

Ordered carry out from Fiesta last weekend after having a horrible meal the previous night at a nearby Mexican restaurant. Fiesta is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I am Mexican so I know. Their beans taste just like the ones my grandma used to make. The chips are to die for and always hot and fresh. My husband had to wait a while while they made fresh guacamole but we both agreed it was worth the wait. I love that they make their own shells for their tacos. By far the best Mexican food around. My mouth is watering as I write this.

This place was just okay. The food was good but the service was kind of slow although it was friendly. You get free chips and salsa before your dinner but the only problem is if you want a refill on chips they try to charge you $2.09. Never heard of this practice at a Mexican restaurant before. The restaurant doesn't have any real Mexican appeal. The Decore suggests a Denny's or some other similar restaurant. There is really no authentic Mexican style to the decorating. In the end the food was okay but I wouldn't make this my first choice.

My wife and I went to Fiesta this past Friday night. It was crowded but we were seated right away. Our server arrived promptly and was very friendly and attentive. The first thing that impressed us was that the tortilla chips were fresh from the fryer. They were very tasty and reminded us of the chips from Xochimilco's down in Mexicantown in Detroit. The salsas, both hot and mild, were also good but the hot was a bit bland for my tastes. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita. It was decent, not great, but fairly expensive. $8 for a "jumbo". It was more like the standard size you'd receive at other Mexican restaurants for about $5. For dinner my wife ordered the taco salad and I chose the "Build your own combo", which lets you choose four items from the taco, enchilada, burrito and tostada choices. I selected one of each, all with ground beef (I wasn't in a chicken mood that night). We didn't have to wait very long for the food, maybe 10 minutes. We were both impressed with the taste of the dishes. The ground beef was seasoned and actually had some flavor. The beans were above average and the Spanish rice was good. I would say it was the best tasting Mexican cuisine we've had in the Ann Arbor/Brighton area. Not quite on par with Mexicantown but getting pretty close. It was verging on the expensive side for this type of fare. My meal was $12.99 and my wife's taco salad was $8.99. Not outrageous, but toward the higher end of the spectrum. One item of note, you get one basket of tortilla chips for free but another basket will cost you $1.99. This was not pointed out to us by the waitress when we asked for more chips. Kind of disappointing considering the cost of each meal. That said, my rating above is primarily based on the actual taste of the food. I was waffling between three and four stars but chose to bump it to four simply because we both agreed it was the best tasting Mexican in the area. I'm not going to get into authentic/non-authentic here since in the end I believe all that truly matters is that it tastes good. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

We came to this restaurant before it changed into Fiesta Mexican and it was horrible food, but when it changed we tried it again to give it a chance. We were pleased with the changes! The chips come out hot and the salsa is pretty good, not super chunky if you like that. The chicken and cheese burritos are my choice usually, but the fajitas are good as well! The burritos can be ordered as many as you like (usually I get 2 and there's left overs to take home!) and get the standard rice and beans. We have never ordered dessert because we are too full, but the food is pretty good and well priced! The decor is simple, but usually pretty clean as long as there hasn't been a party with children in recently ;) We actually go here fairly often now, one of our "go to" restaurants for quick, good food.

Best mexican food in Michigan! I have been going to the mexican fiesta in canton years before they came out to hartland. Best thing ever was when they came to Livingston county. I recommend the beef and cheese enchiladas. PS - Best cole slaw ever!

From what I understand, the Fiesta Mexican Restaurant and Cantina grew out of the Fiesta Express that used to be very near by. My wife used to acquire carryout from the Express and it was a very consistent meal. The Restaurant gives us a regular place to dine for general Americanized Mexican fare. There are a couple of authentic items on the menu, but there are a decent collection of overloaded heavy handed selections that will satiate many diners. Even I have been wooed into the such concoctions as the chimichanga which has a debatable authenticity, but nevertheless it was a good selection. Their carne aside was very good and I was shocked when asked how I wanted it prepared. I simply hadn't had the choice at other establishments and seeing as it's usually skirt steak, I didn't really understand the point. However, I asked for medium and that is exactly what I got. Their botany (basically a really awesomely loaded nacho) is really great, but when the waitress looks at you funny when you order the large and say "it's really big"... listen to her and go with the smaller size unless you had a group of at least four people helping you out.

Start off with great salsa and chips. Botana is exceptional! Beef and cheese enchiladas are great but only if you love lots of cheese. I am partial to the rice. The green peppers have lots of flavor in it, and I love to see lots of them in my rice! But my absolute favorite are the Chicken Flour Flautas. The come smothered in fresh guacamole and have huge chunks of flavorful chicken. Topped with just a bit of cheese, tomayoes and black olives, they are just perfect the way they are!

Cheese dip is shit. Tastes like Velveeta. Chips and salsa decent. Cheese enchilada and hard tacos are okay if you like greasy. Service was good, bathrooms clean

I can't rave enough about this place. It is seriously the best Mexican food in the area at a great price. The chips and salsa are mouth watering, margaritas are perfectly sweet & tart, and the food is to die for. I always get the chicken tostadas, the chicken is of good quality and they put a ton of cheese on the top just how I like it. Their rice is perfectly prepared. My son always gets a chicken quesadilla on the kids menu and honestly, I always want to eat it! It's amazing! The service is superb, we always ask for Amanda but we have had great service with other servers as well. My mom and dad (who is disabled) went up there a lot before he got too sick and they always treated him like a king. We have many amazing memories there. I am SO glad they built one in Hartland near us because going to Canton and Dearborn was too far of a drive!

We were in the area visiting friends and this place peaked our interest. I thought the chips and salsa tasted vaguely familiar...and the menu items looked vaguely familiar. Wait! This must be somehow associated with Canton's Mexican Fiesta II! And it is. Ken's Wet Burrito dinner was tasty, and he liked the two smaller burritos vs one large one - more meat to gravy ratio. My Botana was delicious, every bit as good as the one at MF2. Good service. Yummy food. Clean interior, including the restroom. Sufficient parking. I would return when visiting our friends or driving past the exit.

We were here for lunch and it is hard to beat, both price wise and food wise. All three of us got the lunch special. I got a beef taco and burrito. My wife and our friend both got two cheese burritos. Before they bring out your order they give you a basket of warm tortlla chips and two dipping sauces, mild and hot. The chips are delicious. Our orders came with a side of tasty rice, hot sauce and coleslaw.. Everything was great, service was quick and efficient. The quantities were sufficient to the point that we all took some home. I bought lunch and got out of there for about $25 including tip. A VERY NICE LUNCH.

Excellent service. Excellent food. I ate the fajitas (steak & shrimp). If I come again I would just get the shrimp - delish! Fried ice cream was good too & $2 Mexican beer special!! :-)) Friends had veggie & cheese burritos, and enchiladas. They loved it! Salsa was great, chips were hot & crispy. Loved them! If I'm ever in the area again, I would come back!!!

The food is okay. Nothing special. The service has always been fine for us. But it is the front of the restaurant that made it so we will not return. After originally being told we would have a wait of 10 minutes, we left after 40. There were not many patrons there when we arrived. After seating more than a dozen people, who arrived after us, we decided to leave. The unprofessionalism displayed by the front staff people was almost humorous. When they spoke of Sagebrush, a Mexican restaurant in Fenton, I had to chuckle to think that we actually chose Fiesta because we had never had a problem being seated and we would have had quite a wait in Fenton. Sagebrush may be worth an extra 30 minute wait. This place is not. By the way, you can have our seats if they are ever available. We will not be back.

Eh. The chips are amazing. I love their homemade tortilla shells! My daughter had a chicken bone in her chicken quesadilla and my husband's enchilada had no sauce on it which doesn't really mean it was an enchilada right? I'd try it again with girlfriends. My husband was not a fan but my chicken chimi was amazing & so was my amaretto sunrise.

The Good: They have really tasty food. The fresh, warm tortilla chips, salsa, and tacos are all delicious. I was hooked...for a little while. The Bad & Ugly: They have serious service & cleanliness issues. First, I'll say that I've often experienced really long waits for food or service (both dine-in and carry-out). But I might excuse that if I hadn't begun to discover how dirty the place really is. The dining room itself is always a bit dusty and dirty (don't examine the window blinds next to your table too closely, eww). What really sealed the deal on never going back happened recently on a Sunday at about lunch time. We popped in for a quick lunch mid-afternoon, and it was clear that no one had vacuumed from the night before. The carpeting in the dining room was completely littered with garbage and broken chips. As we're being seated, the snarky hostess went from handling booth partitions and cleaning tables to grabbing our paper napkins and silverware with her bare hands as she's seating us. Ick. Wash your hands! She seated us (in an otherwise mostly empty dining room) right across from a booth that was piled high with garbage and dirty dishes--yum, appetizing! And the garbage and dishes stayed there for at least 15-20 minutes while we waited for our food. It ended up being so gross that we got up and left, only having a cup of soup a few sips of pop. When we went up to the hostess and asked for our check. she did inquire as to what was wrong and when I really politely explained the issues, she said "oh, okay" and still charged us for our soup & drinks. No apology. No comping. Classy. Truth was she didn't give a rat's patoot. All I know is that if this is how the front of house looks, I DON'T want to see their kitchen. I'll go somewhere else from now on. Gross.

Very good! I would say the food pretty authentic. I do not believe a lot of the negative reviews on this site. Try it for yourself. The service was excellent, the food was very good and they had a good drink selection. The place was very clean, probably the cleanest I have ever seen a restaurant. My husband agreed to all of the above.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Best food around and great family atmosphere

It is the best mexican around. Good for a family night out with kids or just the wife. usually have $1 drafts

Although my husband was not impressed with his food, I thought mine was really good! I got the Pork Southern Style...I would definitely get it again. Our waitress was good(being in customer service I look for good customer service when I go places).

The service was friendly, but I got food poising after eating one of their chimichangas!

Gross.

So far nothing I don't like about this place. Love their corn fried tacos, hot chips and margaritas! Yum!
(5)Mindy S.
Great food. Seriously rude hostess. She doesn't like it when it's busy. It shows in her attitude to guests of the establishment.
(3)Pennie H.
Very good! I would say the food pretty authentic. I do not believe a lot of the negative reviews on this site. Try it for yourself. The service was excellent, the food was very good and they had a good drink selection. The place was very clean, probably the cleanest I have ever seen a restaurant. My husband agreed to all of the above.
